These development programs empower youth to support and influence their Club and community, build meaningful relationships, develop a positive self-image, take part in the democratic process, and respect cultural identities.
What We Offer
Character & Leadership Programs
Our staff guide activities including small-group sessions for young adolescents at a critical stage in their development, with topics meant to encourage the next generation as positive, successful individuals. Areas included are service to Club and community, leadership development, education and career exploration, unity, free enterprise, social recreation, and health and fitness.
Youth of the Year
An annual recognition program that acknowledges and awards outstanding members. Youth of the Year helps youth develop their leadership and communication skills through an extensive application and interview process. Junior (ages 10 to 13) and Senior (ages 14 to 18) members compete at the Club and city level, and Senior winners can advance to state, regional, and national competition.

These programs help young people connect to their creative talents and are created to develop multicultural appreciation and enhance skills in visual arts and crafts.
